I wish humans could hibernate.

Then I could sleep through all of this. It would make life a lot easier.

taylor swift

Sung to the tune of "Our Song" by Taylor Swift

I was lookin' at you, in your eyes so blue
as you start to poke my side
you crack a smile, make it all worth while
and pull me close 'til we collide

in your warm hug, I feel safe and snug
there's nowhere else I'd rather be
we stand there so long, everyone's all gone
and it really makes me see

it doesn't matter if we're right or wrong
we can still sum it up with a Taylor Swift song
she seems to know us better than we do
and we can't even deny it, cause it's way too true
no matter what we say
our story's told that way

thinkin' we were both right, we get in a fight
and it never seems to end
get too cross, screamin' "it's your loss!"
as I walk around the bend

I realize it won't work, cause you're bein' a jerk
so your friend takes me away
listen to Picture to Burn, realize it's my turn
I can't let this go astray

it doesn't matter if we're right or wrong
we can still sum it up with a Taylor Swift song
she seems to know us better than we do
and we can't even deny it, cause we know it's too true
missin' you more than I thought I could
she tells it like we should

and I hate every day that I push you away
cause I know the sun won't shine
but it's not how I act, and I know it's a fact
I like you better when you're mine

cause even if you're right and I'm wrong
we can still talk it over with a Taylor Swift song
we learn more about us every day
and I know that we'll always be this way
and if you ask me, I think that's okay

cause I was lookin' at you, in your eyes so blue
while your arm's wrapped 'round my side
you crack a smile, make it all worth while
cause this was worth the ride

I just find it amusing that it ended up being the tune to a Taylor Swift song. And how she's a country singer who wrote a song about another country singer [Tim McGraw], and here I am doing the same thing.

I won't normally write in italics, but it's just because the song was...straight?Normal? However you want to see it. Either way, there you go.
